Do you ever look around and wonder?

5/18/2019

People are doing well, they have jobs, they are buying the things they want, their kids are clean and well-dressed, but,

The news media pounds you with how horrible everything is.

Do you think the president is doing the right things, but,

The news media pounds you with how bad he is and needs to be removed from office.

Are you afraid to speak out in public about your feelings about our country and our president?
There is a place where you can explore your ideas with like-minded people who think like you do. Your feelings of conservatism, freedom, getting government out of our lives can be expressed without fear of reprisal. Even if you are a liberal and want to have an intellectual discourse with people with different viewpoints.

Come to the Albuquerque TEA Party where we welcome honesty, truthfulness, and pride in this wonderful country and state.

Come to our monthly meeting (Third Tuesday of every month) or e-mail us at info@abqteaparty.com

The City Council and State Government are Breaking Federal Law!

5/9/2019

The Albuquerque TEA Party is a firm believer in the rule of law. Whether it be for individuals that consider themselves above the law or local governments that feel federal law does not apply to them, we are opposed to some people, groups, or government being above the law. Once we start down the road of picking and choosing which laws to follow and which ones to break, we will follow other nations that have spiraled into oblivion. We have immigration laws that define who is responsible for protecting our borders and removing those who have come into our country without following the process. The Sanctuary City and state designation is obstructing the federal officers assign to enforce those laws.
True, our immigration laws are flawed, but they are still our laws. And yes, Congress has not done its job by not addressing this issue, but that does not excuse New Mexico's elected officials from breaking their oath of office and our federal laws. We are asking the US District Attorney to enforce the federal laws and take action against those who violate them.
