TEA Party means “TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY” Party. Supporters of the Albuquerque TEA Party typically have found that our Government has removed the money from our purses and wallets while replacing it with “honey words and empty promises”. The horrible effect of liberal empty promises can often be seen in full bloom in the Black community, and other favorite subgroups the Liberals claim to cater to. Conservative principles float all boats and are good for the community at large. As Frederick Douglass a founder of the Republican Party discovered, Conservative Principles do not look at skin color or favored groups.
The Albuquerque Tea Party Mission is to preserve the Constitutional Rights of the citizens of the U.S.A. by limiting government; constraining government spending and taxation; and advancing a free market economy. In short, the ATP intends to bring Power back to the People and the authors of the Constitution intended.
Our Core central issues:
Excessive government spending and taxation (economic repression)
Federal Government intrusion in individuals’ Constitutional Rights (repression of
a persons freedom to the expansion of the collective)
Free market economy (capitalism) benefits all members of the community
Educate about conservative principals
Activate citizens to demand fairness from their government
Inform volunteers of opportunities and to equip them to actively participate in the political process.
Bring the power of governing back to the people
Conduct public events to allow citizens to gather and speak out on our core issues
Educate the public on our core issues
